SENIOR MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER GRADE 11

The following Vacancy has arisen within the City of Bulawayo:

1. Main Responsibilities/ Job Summary	Monitors and researches on internal and external dynamics impacting the organisationâ€™s Strategic plan and crafting recommendations for organizational goals to be realized. Leads in the designing of data collection tools and carries out data collection exercises for primary and secondary data. Oversees data collection, collation, storage, analysis, and reporting, ensuring that data is of high quality. Reviews operational reports and generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports highlighting progress. Reviews Monitoring indicators to suit operational changes and ensure an airtight end to end Monitoring of processes. Undertakes periodic review of the implementation and operation of the Monitoring and reporting mechanism; including the preparation of best practices and lessons learned. Provides ongoing support on new Monitoring and Evaluation methodologies. Co-ordinates and administers staff trainings on Monitoring and Evaluation processes, tools, and database management system functionalities.
2. Qualifications Requirements	Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation or equivalent. Clean class 4 driver's licence. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.
3. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS	At least 5 yearsâ€™ experience in Monitoring and Evaluation in a large organisation.
