1. Main Responsibilities/ Job Summary
Prepares all payroll related journals
Validates payroll
Verifies new engagements, promotions, demotions and terminations.
Generates payroll reports.
Reconciles creditors’ accounts.
Compiles monthly statutory returns.
Supervises Senior Administrative Assistants.
2. Qualifications Requirements
A Higher National Diploma in Accounting / Finance or equivalent.A Higher National Diploma in Accounting / Finance or equivalent.
3. Experience
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar work environment.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II (PAYROLL)- GRADE 6 – (4 POSTS)
1. Main Responsibilities/ Job Summary
Reviews and verifies salary related source documents.
Calculates and captures all allowances for lower and middle grades in line with finance regulatory framework.
Attends to staff salary related complaints and queries.
2. Qualifications Requirements
A certificate in Human Resources Management/Business Administration/ Accounting
5 ‘O’ levels including English Language and Mathematics/Accounts.
3. Experience
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar environment.
SENIOR RECORDS CLERK( ADMINISTRATION) -GRADE 5 – (1 POST)
1. Main Responsibilities/ Job Summary
Receives and records incoming mail.
Files and dispatches mail to various recipients within and outside council.
Issues, receives and records files.
Tracks files in circulation.
Mends files.
Binds books.
2. Qualifications Requirements
A certificate in Records and Archives Management or equivalent.
At least 5 ‘O’ levels including English language and Maths or Accounts.
3. Experience
At least 2 year’ experience in a similar environment.
